Duffryn Community Centre

Duffryn Community Link now employs a community centre manager, Jo Charlton. The centre is rapidly becoming a focal point for the community and houses many service providers and groups including:

• Yoga class- Monday during term time 2:15-3:15pm £2 Wear comfortable clothes

• Zumba with Laura- Every Monday (excluding Easter & Christmas bank holidays) 4:15- 5:15 £3 Wear loose clothing and bring water to drink.

• Belly-dancing with Liz- 5:30-6:30 every Thursday (excluding May 20th & Christmas school holiday break) £3 Cold drink and fruit supplied.

• Art class- Every Friday noon-2pm. Beginners welcome. With tutor Mike Rowlands £3

• Busy Bees quilters- various dates throughout the year. Contact Busy bees office workshop on 01633 810801 for further information.

• Computer for the terrified- 6 week short course aimed to increase confidence for computer novices. £15.00 for 6 week course. Maximum of 8 students per course.

• Internet for the terrified – 6 week course aimed to increase knowledge in using internet securely and easily. £15.00 for 6 week course. Maximum of 8 students per course.

• Computer open session- Wednesday 1pm-3pm £0.75 per hour/part hours.

• Friday Adult Scrabble Club- 2:15-4:15pm New to centre if interested in joining club call to book a seat.£1.50 per week.
