Duffryn Community Link now employs a community centre manager and the centre is running at a profit for the first time in about 16 years. The centre is rapidly becoming a focal point for the community and houses many service providers and groups including:
All of these clubs are either set up or supported by Duffryn Community Link to various degrees, and many are Link members. The Local Neighbourhood meeting is also held at the community centre along with public meetings, which provide people with an ideal opportunity to voice their opinions as part of the consultation process.
The Duffryn Youth Link Talent Crew
Currently runs on a Wednesday night at Duffryn Community Centre where over sixty young people attend singing, dancing and break dancing classes. They perform at various venues across South Wales and have entered numerous competitions. Last year one of the male dancers came joint first at the Llandrindodd Wells dance finals.
